Plumeria


Plumeria which is also called Frangipani or Lei flower with a scientific name of Plumeria rubra is a tropical plant with stems that are naturally thick and leathery leaves. It is well-known for its aromatic smell with petals that are reddish in color and are oval in shape.This plant is being sown to produce a beautiful landscape and its flower is often cut for indoor decorating purposes and often utilized to make a floral garland.It grows in the following places namely: Pacific Islands, Caribbean, South America and Mexico. Its sweet-smelling flowers usually bloom during springtime right before the leaves unfold. Looking at its wonderful features there's no wonder why it is declared as national flower of Nicaragua.One unique fact about this flower which is also one reason why it is considered a rare plant is that its petals are used in magic or love spell. Additionally, aside from its pleasing appearance, its leaves are also useful for treating bruises and ulcers.In a nutshell, this plant is indeed exceptional because of its peculiar functions.
